I especially like the ephesians verse- it's one of my favorite to claim! I think it's also wonderful to stop and look back on my life- I can see so many examples of how God has done more than I could ever think of or dream up!LeahWakehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/16847503884578480959noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-3673223609595777476.post-31875225993258473472009-03-09T21:19:00.000-07:002009-03-09T21:19:00.000-07:00"He will never force His way in."God is the perfec..."He will never force His way in."

God is the perfect gentleman. :-)

"...I think it happens when we are so confident in our version of God's plan that we do not allow Him to surprise or astound us."

I really liked that thought. Do we -really- want to be astounded by the Lord? I think a lot of people don't want to be astounded by the Lord because that would require steps of faith such as letting certain desires die. It is heartbreaking because God will only give us what is best, and in many ways, the fear of letting go of that desire sets us back because we forfeit what God would rather give.

Great post April.Anonymousnoreply@blogger.com
